Crowle

Anglican: St John the Baptist

The timber north porch is authentic 14th century. The body of the church was totally rebuilt in 1881/82 by Frederick Preedy incorporating some internal medieval features. The west tower was rebuilt in 1885. A remarkable survivor is the 12th century lectern.
