Churches open for Ride + Stride 2021

Churches open for visiting on Ride+Stride Day Saturday 11 2021

Please note that many churches not listed here may also be open on Ride + Stride Day


Christchurch Catshill, Bromsgrove: open Saturday 11th September 10 - 4pm.   Toilet facilities available.  Refreshments provided.

URC Malvern Link, Worcester Road, WR14 1SS:  The Church will be open.  If riders come to the church hall (next to the church) they may use the toilet facilities there.

St Andrew Ombersley:  Church open 10 - 4pm.  Toilet facilities provided. Refreshments available.

St Michael and All Angels, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove B60 4JT.  Open as part of Heritage Open Days.  Refreshments and a warm welcome.

St Mary de Wyche, Stoke Road, Wychbold, Droitwich WR9 0BT: open but unmanned.

St Michael's Swan Lane, Upton Warren, Bromsgrove B61 7EW: open but unmanned.

St Michael and All Angels, North Piddle. Church open.  Also an Open Day at The Flyfords Hall where Ride and Striders are welcome to come and have drinks and snacks and use the toilets.

St Barnabas, Church Road, Worcester WR3 8NX . Church open 10 - 4pm.  Toilet facilities available.  Refreshments.

 St. Mary’s, Kempsey, Worcester.  Church will be open from  9.30 - 3.30pm.  There is a toilet that may be used, we hope to provide squash and biscuits if Covid rules allow. There will be gels to use as you come into church, please use. Masks will be an option but would be appreciated to protect those in church.

St Wulstan's Roman Catholic Church, Wells Road, Little Malvern, WR14 4JL
Church open 10am - 4pm. Refreshments and toilets in the adjacent Parish Room.
Sir Edward Elgar and members of his family are buried in the church's cemetery.

Holy Trinity, Amblecote.  Church open from 11am - 4pm.  Refreshments and toilet facilities  available.   'Currently we would ask that participants wear masks on entering the building and whilst moving about.  Once seated for refreshments then masks can be removed.'

Pershore Abbey. Church open 9am - 5pm.   Toilets available.  'Do join us for coffee across the road in St Andrew's Centre 10am - 12 noon.  It's Big Green Week'.

St Nicholas Pinvin WR10 2EU.  Church open 10am - 4pm.  Light refreshments and toilets available.

Flyford families including St Peter, Fyford Flavell, St John the Baptist Grafton Flyford, St Bartholomew Naunton Beauchamp, St Michael and All Angels North Piddle,  St Edburga Abberton (this church will be unmanned, but there is  an automatic opener which operates between 9am and 4pm)

St John the Baptist Suckley.   Open 10am - 4pm. DIY refreshments, outside toilet at back of church.  This church is on the cycle tour of the West Worcester Churches.

St Edburga's, Leigh will be open 10am - 6pm, no refreshments but a portaloo in the grounds. 

St John the Baptist, White Ladies Aston and St Michael's, Churchill will be open to receive visitors.  On this occasion refreshments will not be available.

St Nicholas, Pinvin.  Church open 10am - 4pm.  Refreshments and toilet facilities available.
