The Old Church Tower, April 2015.          

The distinctive tower is a remnant of an eighteenth century replacement for a medieval church which was badly damaged during the Civil War Battle of Upton in 1651.

The present parish church of Upton,built of Cotswold stone in 1878 - 79 by Arthur Blomfield.
The church is usually open daily during daylight hours.
