Cookley

Anglican: St Peter

A red and blue brick church designed by E. Smith in 1849  and enlarged in 1872. The bright and spacious interior contrasts with the dark and austere exterior.
The church is usually locked but, in addition to Sundays, there is a service every Thursday at 10.00am, followed by coffee, when all are welcome.
