Ribbesford

Anglican: St Leonard

The Norman origins of this church remain in the west end of the north wall and especially in the north doorway which is in the style of the Herefordshire School of Sculpture. Another feature is the unusual timber south arcade which dates from the 15th century and which survived 19th century storm damage, after which the church was restored by Frederick Preedy in 1877/79.
St Leonard’s is usually open during daylight hours. (Ref Parish Website, January 2015.)
