Anglican: St Cassian


An important village church east of Kidderminster. There is evidence of Norman origins, the work of later periods includes an excellent 14th century Decorated chancel. The 12th century font is also beautiful. The church was restored by Sir G G Scott in the 19th century. A Grade I Listed Building it features both in Simon Jenkin’s England’s 1000 Best Churches and Betjeman’s Best British Churches, 2011 Edition.  St Cassian’s is usually open during daylight hours.

Bluntington:  Former Primitive Methodist Chapel.

About one mile north of Chaddesley Corbett a viilage chapel built in 1873. Closed for worship c2010 and converted to a private dwelling.
