Events
The Trust puts on a number of events throughout the year to raise awareness of Worcestershire & Dudley’s historic churches and to raise money for their support. Here you can find links to regular and upcoming events to find out more:
Ride and Stride – our big annual fundraising event. Walk or cycle to as many churches as you can, or volunteer to open churches on the day. The next event takes place on Saturday 12th September 2026. Further information here.
Church Tour – The 2025 WDHCT Church Tour explored the Hidden Churches of East Worcestershire on 8th October 2025, with a guided tour by coach of churches including Upton Snodsbury, Throckmorton, Pinvin, Besford and Peopleton. We’re very grateful for the warm welcome we received from all the churches involved, and it was an enjoyable day for those attending. Dissenters’ Way – a walking tour of Worcester. The next tour is planned to take place in September 2026 – please check back for more information.
Musical Recitals – the Trust also organises occasional organ or other musical recitals in some of Worcestershire’s beautiful churches. Our next recital is planned for 2026 – please check back for more information.
