Kidderminster St John Baptist

Anglican: St John Baptist. (Kidderminster West Team Ministry)

A very large Victorian town church. The first church on this site was built in 1842/43, of which only the tower and spire remain. In 1892/94 J A Chatwin added a new large nave, north aisle and chancel. In 1902 Chatwin returned to build a new south aisle and apsed south chapel and added the south porch. There is a midweek service on 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays at 9.45 following which the church is open until 12noon. (See link to A Church Near You.)
