Mamble

Anglican: St John Baptist

Much of the church dates from c1200. The timber bell turret is partly 17th century but its supporting timber frame has been scientifically dated to the early 13th century. On the north side of the church are the remains of the separate 16th century Blount Chapel. The church was restored by Arthur Blomfield in 1880.
St John the Baptist is usually open during daylight hours.
