Rock

Anglican: St Peter and St Paul

Pevsner refers to Rock as the “most significant Norman village church in the county.”  Dating back to the mid 12th century, with stone carving almost certainly by the Herefordshire School of Sculpture of which the large chancel arch is a fine example.  The church features in both Jenkins 1000 Best English Churches and Betjeman’s Best British Churches and is usually open during daylight hours.
