Churches to be visited:
Birlingham St James – 15th Century Perpendicular with Norman Chancel Arch. Parking adjacent to the church. (WR10 3AQ).
Defford St James – Norman origins with unusual carvings. A 14th Century stone base to the black & white tower. Simple whitewashed interior. Large public car park nearby (WR8 9BL).
Besford St Peter Chapelry – Included in Simon Jenkins’ book ‘England’s 1000 Best Churches’ Besford church is one of very few in the country to have a wooden nave. We are making special arrangements for parking nearby. (WR8 9AP).
