Madresfield

Anglican: St Mary.

A medieval church on this site was replaced in 1852 by a new church designed by Edward Pugin. However it soon became unsafe and the current church was built in 1866/67 by Frederick Preedy. The church is richly decorated inside with the chancel and chancel arch painted by Clayton and Bell in 1894.
St Mary’s is usually locked outside of service times. See A Church Near You (below) for contact information.
