 Ride+Stride is a sponsored bike ride or walk in which people all over England walk or cycle between churches, exploring and enjoying the countryside from Cornwall to Northumberland. The money they raise helps to save historic churches, chapels and meeting houses for future generations by helping to fund urgent repairs and the installation of modern facilities.

 The event is a major source of funds for the Trust and for churches which participate.

Following the retirement of the previous administrator, the Trust needs to recruit a volunteer Trustee to co-ordinate the event on its behalf.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaison with participants and churches.
• Encourage participation – e.g. Churches, Cycling Clubs etc
• Receive Sponsorship Forms and money collected by the riders and forward money to the Treasurer for banking.
• Liaise with the Treasurer to arrange the return of 50% of the monies raised to the nominated churches.
• Liaise with the Treasurer in order to reclaim Gift Aid on sponsorship monies.
• Attending the Quarterly Meeting of the Trustees (usually held on a Wednesday morning in central Worcester).
